What Insurance Discounts Do I Qualify for?

Not all insurance companies will offer the same discounts but it doesn't hurt to ask! Ask your insurance provider if you qualify for any of the following insurance discounts.

• Good Grades Discount provides a discount for full-time students who maintain a B average, 3.0, or above. Most of the time there are age restrictions associated with the good grades discount.
• Student Away at School Discount provides a discount to you if you have a kid holding a valid drivers license but is currently living away at college without a vehicle. Your student is still insured under the contract but you are not penalized by high premiums since your son or daughter is not driving on a regular basis.
• Good Driver Discount is available to those who maintain a clear driving record over an extended period of time. Insurance companies can afford to give good drivers a price break since the possibility of being involved in an accident is low.
• Anti-Theft Discount is available in increments depending on your vehicle's theft prevention equipment. The more anti-theft devices you have, the higher the discount.
• Triple A Discount is available to those who have an emergency roadside assistance program.
• On Star Discount is available to those who subscribe to an On Star program.
• Defensive Driver Discount is available to those who have taken a defensive driving course either on line or in a classroom setting in the past 3 to 5 years.
• Drug and Alcohol Discount is available to those who have taken a drug and alcohol course either on line or in a classroom setting in the past 3 to 5 years.
• Multi-Line Discount is available to people who insure more than one type of exposure with the same insurance company. For example, I insure my home and car with the same company and I get a fifteen percent discount off both policies.
